Edinburgh pensioner dies in fatal road crash

A 76-year-old woman died in a fatal car crash in Edinburgh this morning. Police were called to Saxe Coburg Place in Stockbridge by eyewitnesses, at around 10am on Friday morning. Emergency services quickly responded, with around five police vehicles and several ambulances attending the incident. However, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Endangered hippo calf named in tribute to native home
