Paul Drayton aged 50 was today sentenced in Brighton Crown Court.
Whilst drunk with an alcohol reading said to be “off the scale” he reversed into a police car.
The court was told how Drayton “gambled” with the lives of the public.
The conviction will see Drayton spend 14 weeks behind bars after he was “dicing with death” swerving across the roads as police pursued him.
Meanwhile on Twitter, comments have been exchanged asking how it’s possible that on this occasion Drayton was sentenced to prison, while Katie Price managed to avoid jail time after a further driving offence just before Christmas.
