Edinburgh Council have launched consultations on better sustainable transport connections to support Edinburgh’s new housing developments

Thousands of new homes will be built around Edinburgh over the next decade. Edinburgh Council want to make it as easy as possible to walk, wheel, cycle and use public transport, as well as spend time, around these areas.

They are proposing improvements to help people do that in four parts of the city where development is planned or underway – Leith, Lochend and Easter Road, Queensferry and Burdiehouse.
