Remembrance Day across Edinburgh

As the UK and further afield prepares to fall silent at 11AM in a act of remembrance for Armistice Day 2021, we take a look across the city of Edinburgh as people come together to remember those who gave their lives for us.

Edge Radio, like thousands of radio stations around the world, will fall silent to remember at 11 AM.


Amy Fallon is a journalist, and has recently completed a masters in “human rights.” She tweeted yesterday about one of the medals her grandfather was awarded. It’s now on display in Edinburgh Castle.

Today, at 11 AM you’ll be able to see pipers playing from the roof of Edinburgh Self Storage’s Jenners Depository in Edinburgh.
