Glasgow alongside Moray are set to remain at level 3 COVID restrictions the First Minister has announced.

From Monday (17th May) the rest of Scotland will see restrictions ease moving to level 2 rules

It was warned in the past days that Moray would likely not move down to level 2. But the First Minister has said the situation in Glasgow was causing even more concern than Moray.

The current rate for Moray for every 100,00 people is 68.9 with Glasgow currently showing a rate of  80.4 showing Glasgow to be now more of a concern than the area of Moray. these figures are from the previous 7 days to May 11th.

Nicola Sturgeon announced on Friday afternoon that the two areas would be remaining at level three restrictions but has gaian said she would be monitoring the situation ‘very closely’.
