This morning the Daily Mail has reported, in an exclusive piece about I’m A Celebrity, that ITV bosses have just two weeks to decide where this series will take place. Last years series was the first time the show had been filmed outside of the usual Australian jungle and instead took place in Wales at Gwrych Castle.

Fans were divided as to whether the show in Wales was a real hit or whether it lacked the exotic nature of sunny Australia. The source that spoke to The Daily Mail was discussing that the real issue ITV faces is if they decide to film in Australia the show has more potential to be cancelled further down the line if there was a surge in UK or Australian cases, whereas if they opt for Wales again, there’s more certainty that the show will go ahead.

In the meantime, we’ll have to wait and see, but one thing is for sure; we’re all in need of some bushtucker trials back on our TV screens.
