Today, Monday 17 May most Mainland Scotland and its Islands will take the next step out of lockdown, into Level Two restrictions. Aswell, children under the age of 12 will not be counted to the total number of people meeting outdoors. However, they do count towards the number of people meeting indoors.

  • Weddings and Funerals can have up to 50 people attending.
  • Travel restrictions are lifted, except for travel in and out of Level 3 and Level 4 areas.
  • Informal childcare is permitted.
  • Tradespeople can work inside people’s homes.

The Government is still urging people to work from home, where possible.
