Man charged in connection with assault in Edinburgh

A 19-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault in Edinburgh.

The incident happened on Chambers Street around 9pm on Saturday, 19 August.

A 23-year-old man suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.

The 19-year-old man appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday, 24 August.
