Edinburgh Zoo are hosting a reimagined version of the world-famous Penguin Parade.

An exciting new experience is being offered to fans of Edinburgh Zoo’s penguin colony, allowing visitors to get up close with the penguin colony as they venture beyond their usual enclosure.

It’s all part of the wildlife conservation charity’s initiative which allows the penguins to leave Penguin rock and participate in feeding sessions and waddle around the perimeter.

Notably, the mischievous gentoo penguin, Kevin, will also be allowed to join in, following his infamous previous ban from the parade due to his playful antics of nipping at visitors' ankles.

The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland have acknowledged how much people have missed the Penguin Parade and so now hope the brand new ‘Wee Waddle’ will satisfy guests who want to get a closer look at the cheeky and interesting creatures.

Visitors can catch the Wee Waddle at Edinburgh Zoo from Thursday to Sunday at 2:15 PM.
